The BALLARAT INTERNET GUIDE was Officially Launched at The Ballarat Town Hall on Thursday March 18th 1999.
The Launch was jointly presented by Ratnet Multimedia and The City of Ballarat and featured live music from THE SWEET MONA'S CHOIR and MICK TREMBATH, the archived EUREKA DAWN WALK Internet Video Presentation as well as speeches by DAVID MILLER, Head of Economic Development for The City of Ballarat, Ballarat Netconnect Projects Manager GEORGE FONG, The Mayor of Ballarat (18/3/99), Cr JUDY VERLIN, Ratnet Multimedia Director, REX HARDWARE
Her Majesty's Theatre Publicist, PETER FREUND, and Region X Cultural Association President JERRY GOULARIS.

The launch was recorded by Ratnet Multimedia, and some RealPlayer files from the launch are now here available to view.
