BROADCAST INFORMATION and
ADVICE
Live Internet Broadcasts
Grainery Lane Theatre July 2001
RATNET
presents regular Live Internet Broadcasts of Australian Music, Arts and Culture.
Broadcasts come to you via FREE RealPlayer software. (Click the logo to download).
You will need a computer with a sound card and speakers or headphones to hear
sound, and 133 Pentium/32MB RAM PC or better to watch.
We advise you to use a 56k modem, or better and an ISP with 56k access.
When you are ready to watch the broadcast, we suggest you ONLY RUN your
web-browser (Netscape or IE)
and RealPlayer. Click on the 'Live Stream' Link, and wait for the Player to
load.
IMPORTANT! - Try not to 'surf' heaps, or load webpages, while you are watching
the Live broadcast.
This will use up some of your available 'bandwidth', and may cause the broadcast
to cut out,
or 'buffer' the live signal, making it start and stop, or blur your 'net vision.
